You can use our Storage Calculator to help you work out the amount of space you will need to store your belongings. Start by selecting the items you need to store, and the calculator will begin to calculate the amount of storage space you'll need.

Here are a few helpful hints for using the calculator:

• Trying to recall the items you need to store from memory can be difficult, so we recommend that you walk around your house, with either your tablet or phone, adding the items to the list as you go.
• Remember items you may have stored in the loft, garage and garden. 
• If you have items which are not on the list, select an item of similar size.
• Consider moving up a unit size to allow some extra wiggle room.

While the calculator is not an exact science, not all large sofas are the same size, it should give you an idea of the space you will need.
