Self Storage Firm Appoints New General Manager

Leading self storage firm Plymouth Self Storage has recruited a new general manager who will be responsible for its two depots based at Prince Rock and Langage, Plympton. Peter Risk joins the Plymouth Self Storage team from national law Bond Pearce where he worked in their facilities department.

Peter brings 10 years of facilities management experience with him and is relishing his new role; “When I was offered the role I couldn’t wait to join, I am looking forward to a customer facing role after many years of working within a large corporate organisation. In the last decade we have spent a lot of time, energy and money in developing our offer to both public and trade clients, I’ll be looking at ways in which we could improve this even further,” he commented.

Company Director Vicky Hackworthy said of Peter’s appointment; “We are delighted to welcome Peter to the team. He brings a wealth of experience with him and I am looking forward to working closely with him to expand on the self storage side of our business.”

Plymouth Self Storage are part of the Hackworthy Group, a group of family run businesses owned and managed by the Hackworthy family. They include removal companies Hackworthy & Sons and SP Cocks as well as Plymouth Self Storage.
